Line and Shape |
I took two of these photos at the football field and the others in my home. The first picture is of an American flag, the second is of a closet door, the third is of golf clubs, the fourth is of the football field, the fifth is of the fence outside of the football field and the sixth picture is of my stairs and the floor in the background of them. In the first three photos I took them from a close distance at certain angles in order to make the picture more interesting. The photo of the football field was taken from a far and is tilted to the right, but the picture of the fence was taken closer and with an angle. The picture of my stairs was taken at a downward angle from a close distance in order to be able to see the floor in the background. All of my photos are vertical. I considered the rule of thirds in my photo of the football field where you can see the sky, the field and the track, and it also leads the viewers eyes throughout the entire work with the different lighting and positioning.

Pattern and Texture |
Most of these photos were taken in the courtyard and the other two were taken in my home. The pictures of the leaf and the pine needle looking bush represented texture. The other pictures represented pattern and repetition because the flowers or leaves in the flowers were the same and were all throughout the pictures. Most of the pictures are zoomed in to capture the texture of the object i was taking the photo of. Some of the pictures were taken close so the identity of the object was almost loss.
